MJ Hold
The MJ hold is related to declaration of college and major. If you have reached a certain number of hours
(as defined in the catalog)
and are coded an undeclared major (DUS), you will be placed on MJ hold. If you are not coded into a college (major or pre-major) and
are listed in the College of Acad. Support and Achievement on your OASIS Registration Status, this will also result in an MJ Hold.
This hold can be removed in one of two ways.
- Meet with your major of choice and declare. Once you have been coded to a college-based major or pre-major in
OASIS, the MJ hold will automatically be removed.
- Go to the TRansitional Advising Center and meet with an advisor to help you determine your major.
This process may include career counseling or other services and does not result in an immediate override.
