Student Organizations

The Office of Student Activities on the second level of the Marshall Center provides counseling and activities for students to experience growth outside the classroom setting. This office is an outlet for students to learn emotionally, intellectually, and physically while participating within a group. Services are provided to more than 270 student organizations. Traditional USF activities such as Honors Week, Greek Week, and Student Organizations Showcase are coordinated through this office. The Student Organization Advisory Board (SOAB), an all-student committee, is made up of students representing the various organizations and serves as a resource to all organizations in regard to their programs, problems and general welfare. The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a unique programming organization. Made up entirely of student volunteers, the CAB offers students the opportunity to participate in planning and implementing a variety of programs for the University while developing valuable skills in marketing, budgeting, and program planning. Professional advisors are also available to counsel students for their programming needs.
