Class Standing

A student's class is determined by the number of credits he/she has earned without relation to his/her GPA.

0CUnclassified - Non-degree-seeking students
1FFreshman - 0 through 29 semester hours passed
2SSophomore - 30 through 59 semester hours passed
3JJunior - 60 through 89 semester hours passed
4RSenior - 90 or more semester hours passed; however, no baccalaureate degree earned here or elsewhere
5BBaccalaureate degree-holder working on a second undergraduate program or degree
6MGraduate student admitted to Master's Degree Program
6AGraduate student admitted to Specialist Degree Program
6CAdmitted to Candidacy
6DGraduate student admitted to a Doctoral Degree Program
7A-7D1st-4th year professional program (M.D.) or post-doctoral status

Good Standing

USF students will be considered in Good Standing if they are currently enrolled or eligible to return to USF.
