ENLACE at USF encourages and supports first-generation Latino and other underrepresented students for a smooth and successful transition from high school to college. Your first experience with ENLACE is a welcoming and friendly breakfast hosted by the Latino student organizations where you immediately get to meet administrators and other students like yourself. During the first semester you have access to an academic advisor/counselor who will assist you with any academic or personal concern you may have. As you and the semester move along, you will have the opportunity to get involved with the ENLACE program and the different activities it sponsors.

  • ENLACE Day (a visit from area high schools)
  • Community Connections: a networking experience with the local community regarding internship opportunities and volunteer experiences.
  • Bridge Program: Developing leaders by sharing your own experiences with high school students.
  • GRE Prep: Program to prepare well towards graduate school.
  • Campus work: Work as a tutor/mentor in local high schools.
  • As a group of friends we also share picnics at USF’s own Riverfront Park.
  • Do you need money? ENLACE has an extensive “library” to search for scholarships.
