- The minutes of October 18, 2005, were approved as submitted.
- Assessment (Flateby) - The general Education Assessment Committee is a large committee.
- Graduate students, in groups per college are needed to help with assessment duties, and administrative evaluations.
- Past the 18 hours, 80 more like Ph.D. candidates.
- Primary groups that would learn about assessment to work with the GA's.
- Updates on Application Website (Willams/Hayden) - See handout. Discussion on permits rather than prerequisites followed.
- Feedback on Philosophy Statement (Moore) - Who is the intended audience? We are concerned with the length, depth, etc.
- Departmental Incentives (feedback from departments) (Moore/Murray). Some areas did not respond because not all Associate Deans sent out request. Flateby's outcome and assessments needs TAs, but will not table existing TAs that are already being used in Colleges. He would like to build a group to be facilitators.
- Syllabi Committee (Pendyala). At this time we are waiting on comments from the Syllabi sub-committee.
- Marketing/promotions committee (Frankel/Smith). No marketing report available.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, November 15 , 2005. The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 pm
