SASS - USF Codes & Grades
USF Codes:
- CL = code assigned to CLEP credit (Note: CLN = zero CLEP credit)
- AP = code assigned to AP credit (Note: APN = zero AP credit)
- CW = code assigned to waived courses
- RG = code assigned to courses taken in the current semester
- FC = code assigned to courses registered for the next semester
USF Grades:
- Grades A B C D F S U and - are standard USF grades.
- Effective Fall 2000, graduate & undergraduate grades will be assigned quality points in the Grade Point Average (GPA) grading system as follows:

| B+ | 3.33 |
| B | 3.00 |
| B- | 2.67 |
| C+ | 2.33 |
| C | 2.00 |
| C- | 1.67 |
| D+ | 1.33 |
| D | 1.00 |
| D- | 0.67 |
| F | 0.00 |
Note: Faculty have the option to use or not use plus (+) or minus (-) grades.
- Grades I, F, U, M, N, FF, IF, IU, MF, MU, W, WC, and Z earn 0.00 hours; only F, FF, MF and IF grades are computed into the USF GPA.
- Grades followed by a T (example: DT) have 0.00 hours earned. These are grade forgiven courses; they are not computed into the USF GPA.
