CLAST Advising - TS Hold
You have received the following e-mail:
Dear student:
Our records indicate that you have attempted, but not satisfied, all portions of the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST). At this time you have a TS CLAST hold placed on your registration. According to State law, the CLAST must be passed or exemptions must be earned before completing 60 hours of college credit. You will not be permitted to register for classes until you contact your advisor using one of the means outlined at http://www.ugs.usf.edu/student/clast/index.htm Follow the instructions carefully, making sure to select your appropriate college.
Be aware that when 36 hours of upper level credit have been earned, your registration will be restricted to 1000 and 2000 level classes. St. Pete students should call Advising at (727)553-4511 for an appt. to discuss a TS hold and make a contract prior to the hold being lifted. Sarasota students should call Academic Advising at 941-359-4330 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
