Sandra Reynolds distributed guidelines for review of courses for Social Science Certification.
ARC 2001 Introduction to Architecture - This course is an introduction to the architecture and urban design of various cultures. Discussion centered on how the course would meet the dimensions, perspectives, and learning skills of the requested Liberal Arts designations. The course was approved with certification in Historical Perspective and Fine Arts General Education.
ARC 2131 Introduction to Architectural Design and Graphics - This course is an introduction to fundamental "critical thinking" and graphic communication skills in architecture. Following discussion, the course was approved with certification in Fine Arts General Education.
LAE 4XXX Classroom Communication - Tabled for college representation
LAE 4469 Teaching World Literature to Middle & Secondary Students - Tabled for college representation
Student Government Proposal - Resolution 1 - This proposal calls for a change to the current Plus/Minus Grading System. The proposal calls for an A+ to be awarded 4.33 quality points. Following discussion, the proposal was approved with 6 for and 3 abstentions.
