The meeting was called to order at 3:05 p.m.
Committee on Committees requested that Undergraduate Council have representatives from Public Health, the Honors College and Architecture. An adjustment to the Undergraduate Council Charge shall include representation "from each college with an undergraduate program".
Committee on Committees approved the inclusion of faculty representatives from all colleges having undergraduate programs. The Undergraduate Council's membership will be changed to include Public Health, the Honors College and Architecture. An adjustment to the Undergraduate Council Charge will also be changed to include representation "from each college with an undergraduate program".
Ad Hoc Committee on Academic Grievance attempted to meet; however, no one from Graduate Council attended the meeting. Glen Besterfield has been empowered to meet with Kelly McCormick Brown to work on the grievance proposal.
During Spring Semester Registration there will be a trial run on a prerequisite check program.
Proposal to Change the Plus/Minus Grading System - Committee recommended no change to the Faculty Senate. Members of Student Government are upset about how the proposal was handled. Chair of the Faculty Senate committee did not include a dissenting report from Sara Mandell.
There are no new course proposals at this time.
The next meeting will be Monday, January 13, 2003. The meeting was adjourned at 4:10 p.m.
