- The Undergraduate Council discussed the 120 credit hour baccalaureate degree minimum. The Undergraduate Council approved the requirement that all academic departments offering baccalaureate degree programs comply with the State Board rules regarding the 120 credit hour degree length, unless prior approval was received by the State Board of Education. Programs that are over the limit without approval should request an exemption from the State Board of Education. The Undergraduate Council urges that the exemption be applied for by the end of Fall, 2004.
