The meeting was called to order at 3:02 p.m.

1. The minutes of April 24, 2006 were approved as submitted.

2. Announcements/Discussions and Introduction of New Members

   • The Undergraduate Council discussed what authority the UGC has and what information needs to be submitted with the course proposals.

   • Vice Provost Dwayne Smith discussed the format requirements of a syllabus and in what form the syllabus should be distributed to the student with the Undergraduate Council.
