Course Policies: We will be observing all university policies regarding religious holidays and disability policies. Any student with a disability is encouraged to meet with me privately during the first week of class to discuss accommodations. Each student must bring a current Memorandum of Accommodations from the Office of Student Disability Services that is prerequisite for receiving accommodations. Accommodated examinations through the Office of Student Disability Services require two weeks notice. All course documents are available in alternate format if requested in the student's Memorandum of Accommodations. For any special accommodations, please see me during the first week of classes. For information regarding religious holidays, please see http://isis.fastmail.usf.edu/usfgc/gc_pp/acadaf/gc10-045.htm.

Please note that you may tape my lectures and take notes for personal use, but you may not make monetary profit from the tapes/notes.

Please make sure that you turn off your cellular phone and/or walkie-talkies during class.

Academic Integrity/Academic Dishonesty: I expect students to be honest and not cheat on their papers/quizzes/examinations. Each student should work independently on all papers, quizzes, and examinations. In light of this, I expect you to read the University's policies on student conduct, academic dishonesty, etc. Please see the University's Undergraduate Catalog regarding these policies at http://www.ugs.usf.edu/catalogs/0607/adadap.htm. Students caught cheating in any form will receive an FF grade for the course.

Research Paper: Your research paper is to be 10 pages in length on a topic of your choosing regarding constructing a course syllabus. Please give me your topic by the end of Week 5.

Examinations: There are three quizzes and two examinations given for this course. The course final is schedule to be given during the approved University final examination period.
